I'm an entrepreneur
I've built, scaled and went through two M&As. My first company was called Kimitachi, and it was a sushi delivery franchise that ran on a cloud kitchen model before it was cool (2009-2014). I was the CTO and Digital Marketing responsible. I've built all the tech stack from scratch, including an e-commerce platform, a CRM, and a BI tool. I've sold it to a company called Grupo Trigo.
My second company was called Zygo and it was a martech company that helped brick and mortar businesses to create customer relationship programs. We did that by developing a specialized computer vision algorithm that could identify purchases on any point of sale system. I was a CEO, focused mainly on product and tech. Our customers included global brands like Subway and national brands like Spoleto, Giraffas, Cacau Show, and others. I've sold it to a company called PagSeguro.
Turned into a tech executive
After my first M&A, i've had a brief experience as a technology director at Grupo Trigo. Later on, after my last M&A, I've had a longer experience as a technology director at PagSeguro. I've worked as a consultant for a while until I was invited to be a technology director at a company called Stone. Through a lot of trial and error, I've developed my own playbook for managing product and engineering teams, and it's been serving me well in generating millions of dollars in impact through technology.
Passionate about coding
I've started coding back in 1997, when I was 9 years old. I've learned how to code by myself, and I've been coding ever since. My hobbies include coding, building home automation systems, fiddling with electronics and trying out new technologies. I've built hundreds of projects and plan on doing so for the rest of my life.
I'm also a family man
I'm married to a wonderful person, Kamilla, and we have a beautiful son, Thiago. We live by the beach and love to travel, going out on walks, and playing with our son.
